The New European Bauhaus Community
The New European Bauhaus (NEB) brings innovation, ambition and creativity together. It calls on all Europeans to imagine and build a sustainable and inclusive future that is beautiful – not only for our eyes, but also for our minds, and souls. Since its launch in 2020, the NEB has inspired a strong grassroots movement. This engagement has resulted in a vibrant NEB Community with nearly 2.000 members, including non-profit organisations, businesses and public authorities. This diverse network connects a wide range of stakeholders, reaching millions of Europeans and promoting collaboration and innovation across Europe and beyond.
BURST, as an Official NEB Partner
As an official partner of the NEB, BURST works to translate NEB principles into practical approaches for cities, regions and communities. Our work is grounded in the NEB’s three interconnected values — sustainability, inclusion and quality of experience — and in our wider expertise in community engagement, urban transformation, local economic development and social innovation.
Through our involvement in EU-funded projects and collaborations with local and regional authorities, we support communities in developing more sustainable, inclusive and locally rooted solutions. We design and facilitate participatory and co-creation processes, bringing together public authorities, local stakeholders, communities, experts and other actors to shape strategies, projects and interventions together.
BURST also contributes to the wider NEB community of practice, connecting European experiences and good practices with local and regional contexts, particularly across Central and Eastern Europe. Through our networks and EU project partnerships, we facilitate the exchange of knowledge between practitioners, policymakers and communities and help adapt innovative approaches to different territorial contexts.
Our aim is not only to promote the values of the New European Bauhaus, but to help make them actionable — supporting stakeholders from the early stages of vision-setting and co-design through to funding, implementation, learning and knowledge sharing.
